This page allows you to change your Star Cafe /AFSC Network password.


The new password must:

  • be at least 9 characters in length (15+ character "pass phrase" recommended)
  • NOT contain any three consecutive letters of your name
  • NOT be a password you've used for the last 10 times.
  • include at least one character in at least 3 out of 4 of the following categories:
    • Uppercase letter
    • Lowercase letter
    • Number
    • Punctuation or special character

To change your password, please enter the following information, then click "Change Password" at the bottom.  For your Username, if it's not already filled in, please enter your username by itself (without "afsc\" prefix or "" suffix).  For example: "rjenner".

After changing your password above,

please REBOOT your computer.

  • For more information refer to the Star Point AFSC Network Password Directive and this Star Clip Video.
  • If you are using a Windows-based computer joined to the AFSC network, this feature will change your password on both the network and your local machine.  If you are using a Mac, or any computer NOT connected to the AFSC network, this function will change your network password, but the password for your local machine will remain unchanged.
  • This process will not update the AFSC Network password stored on a mobile device. See the Star Point How Update your iOS Devices (iPhones and iPads) with a new AFSC Password for help with changing passwords on those devices.
