Access 2007 is very finicky about opening databases with macros in them. This is because macros can do malicious things, so Access tries its best to prevent you from inadvertently using macros.
When you open an Access 2007 database with macros in it, you will get a lot of security errors. In order to make these errors stop, you need to tell Access that there are certain folders that are Trusted for opening macros. A typical trusted location might be your G drive.
To make your G drive into a location that Access trusts, follow these steps:
1. Open Access.
2. Go to the Office button and choose Access Options.
3. Click the Trust Center button.
4. Click the Trust Center Settings button
5. Click the Trusted Locations button.
6. Check the box for Allow Trusted Locations on my network.
7. Click the Add new location button.
8. Browse to the folder you want to trust, check the Subfolders of this location are also trusted checkbox (if appropriate), then click the OK button.
9. Continue clicking OK on each screen until you are back in Access.
