Multiple Email Accounts on One Computer
You will need to set up an Outlook profile in order to open an additional Outlook mailbox on a PC used by someone else. You must already have an account on the AFSC mail server in order to set up an Outlook profile.

Adding a Second Mailbox
To add a second mailbox in Outlook, in addition to your own mailbox, go to Tools--Email Accounts--View or Change Existing Accounts--Highlight “Microsoft Exchange Server”--Change--More Settings--Advanced--Add, and type in the Name of the mailbox.

Email Header Does Not Print
After upgrading Internet Explorer to 7.0, some emails may print without the header information. There is a workaround, but there is no official (public) release of a hotfix from Microsoft yet.

Personal-Archive Files-pst Files
PST files, Personal/Archive Folders in Outlook, should be used minimally, because of an increase in our email server capacity. These Personal Folders were kept on the user's local drive and not on the server.

Mailbox Size - How to Manage
Each Outlook user is allotted 800 MB of space on our server. When your mailbox reaches 775MB, you will be able to receive messages but not to send messages.

Use Outlook Web Access when you want Outlook email over the Internet while traveling. In your Internet browser type https://owa.afsc.org/exchange and enter AFSC\username if there is no separate domain name box.

Using Outlook Remotely Without VPN
You can access a full version of Outlook remotely without using VPN. You will need to change the "Hosts" file on your computer to add a couple of static IP addresses so your computer knows where our email server is.
