Live Meeting
The capability of participants to add modifications to an imported resource or collaboartive slide.  Includes highlighter, lines, shapes, stamps and text.

Attendee
Live Meeting

Audio conferencing
General
A service which enables multiple, remotely-located people to speak and listen to one another in real time.  This can be done via telephone (as with Complete Conference, AT Conference, Asterisk Audio Rooms and freeconference.com) or via computer (as with Skype).

Backchannel
Live Meeting
The means of communication among IT Support staff (and possibly other participants) which is concurrent with, but independent of, the Live Meeting itself.  This may be done via an Instant Messaging service.
Backchannel Coordinator
Live Meeting
The person who organizes the backchannel during a Live Meeting event, including initiating the IM call(s).
Blog
General

Browser
General
Same as web browser.  A software program that enables a computer to display pages from the World Wide Web.
Bulletin Board

CQ

A structured web conference with specific protocols for the exchange of knowedge in the Star Cafe.  From the Latin word colloqui which means "to talk together".  This is a specific formatted learning group defined 2007-09-25 by the Star Cafe Crew.
Crew
General
The total collection of volunteers, staff and consultants who provide activists using Star Cafe tools with administration, support or training.  (Crewmembers may also be activists.)
Crewmember
General
A specific volunteer, staffmember or consultant who provides administration, support or training in using the Star Cafe.  May be used in the context of a given situation or Initiative.

Live Meeting
A Live Meeting participant who is in charge of the flow of the meeting. This participant is not necessarily a Live Meeting Presenter.  This is akin to the facilitator of a face-to-face meeting.
